Dr. N.D. Victor Carsrud, PhD, MD (MSR), DC, MBBS, MS, MS, DABCI, DCBCN *

Dr. Carsrud brings a diverse and broad base of integrated knowledge to help his patients. Dr. Carsrud holds an PhD and Academic Medical Doctorate and is a prolific medical researcher and writer. He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic, operates under this license to support patients using integrative nutritional and natural therapies. His doctoral dissertation focused on nutritional endocrinology, with Master's degrees focused on Medical Science and Human Gene Targeting. He is board Certified in Chiropractic Family Practice and Management of Internal Disorders (DABCI), and Clinical Nutrition (DCBCN).
He is the current Vice President of the ACA-CDID College for Pharmacology and Toxicology and the At Large Board member for Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He is a nutrigenomic consultant for GX Sciences, focusing on the interaction between genes and your nutrition, and consults on functional nutrition for companies such as NuMedica and NeuroScience. Known for his public lectures on a wide variety of subjects, Dr. Carsrud is a nationally recognized lecturer on the subject of integrative and functional nutrition.
His current practice focus is on identifying and preventing the causes of Chronic Disease, and in particular Neurocognitive Disorders.
Dr. Carsrud was awarded the 2023 Cessna Award for contributions to Clinical Research and Practice by the ACA-CDID, with over 70 current publications on subjects ranging from primary care and clinical nutrition to pathology and infectious diseases.
In his spare time, Dr. Carsrud is an author, supports his local Scout Troop, teaches American History, Government, and Economics to his local Home Schooling Co-op, and is actively involved in his Knights of Columbus Council.

Charles A. Miears, LPC, MAHS

Charles (Chuck) Miears is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He studied at St. Edwards University in Austin, receiving his M.A.H.S. Chuck has been counseling individuals, families, and couples for twenty eight years, and truly tailors counseling to the needs of his client. He assists clients with issues including depression, anxiety, family communication, career choices, and the stress of physical illness among many others. He was a program director for in- and out-patient chemical dependency and mental health hospital programs, and has broad experience with a wide range of mental and emotional health issues.
Beth Carsrud, CNC-NASM, BA

Beth Carsrud is a Certified Nutritional Consultant through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and brings over 30 years of customer care experience to her patient encounters. Beth is a skilled patient advocate and can help with the practicalities of daily supplement usage, helping to triage your diagnostic needs, and helping to answer some of the questions about the application of your protocols and schedule.
She is available for private nutritional consultation and protocol management, Essential Oil Consultations, questions on testing, or for BrainTap Brain Training sessions.
Fusing customer service, product management, and an integrity of care across multiple fields, she also serves as the "Chief Cat Wrangler" at Lakeline as our Office Manager to keep the team moving and coordinated for the best outcomes in patient care.
She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University in the "Mitten State" of Michigan, and brings a Midwestern common sense of balance to our family oriented practice.

Jane Yu, LAc

I graduated from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine with the goal of mastering the science of Chinese Medicine. In 2007, I was also able to participate in an International TCM Training Program in China for several weeks, studying with doctors in the Teaching Hospital of Chengdu Univeristy of TCM in Sichuan province. In 2009, I earned a Masters in Oriental Medicine. Currently, I have an Integrative Medicine practice in Austin, Texas specializing in women’s health and pregnancy support.
Texi Carsrud, K9

Texi Carsrud is a Registered Service Dog (no kidding), and essential member of the Lakeline Team.
A graduate of FCU (Friendly Canine University), she holds advanced certification in emotional support and a Master's in Shedding. Visitors to the clinic should be prepared for her friendly demeanor, and her free samples of Dog Hair.
In her spare time she enjoys playing with children, trying to convince people she's never been fed, and eating the cat food when we're not looking.
Texi is used by our providers as calming and supportive influence for those who may be experiencing emotional upset, based on the documented psychological benefits of a support animal.
Please let our staff know when you arrive if you would feel comforted by her support during your visit.
