Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can Lakeline Wellness Center be my primary care and write prescriptions for me?
No. Lakeline Wellness Center is a fantastic health resource and can help you to build a healthy lifestyle and to feel better but we are NOT primary care. There are plenty of drugs in the world, we try and offer you alternatives. There is a time and a place for all things to keep you healthy, but we choose only natural approaches here at LWC. We do not write prescriptions. We can help you to find a primary care physician around town who will be right for you, and who will work well with what we’re doing together for your health.
2. I’d like to do a Neurotransmitter Test, Saliva Test, Etc.
Lakeline Wellness Center can help you get these tests done. You will need to make an appointment and be assessed by one of our practitioners who will then help you figure out what tests to order. They would suggest tests that would provide the most beneficial information to help you with your identified health problems. You can learn more about our full range of available testing here.
3. What is a “die-off reaction”?
Your practitioner here at Lakeline Wellness Center may suggest a protocol to detoxify or cleanse your system. You could experience what’s called a “die-off reaction” as yeasts, viruses, bacteria, etc. die off and produce by-products. These by-products may temporarily make you feel like you are sick with headaches, diarrhea, nausea, stomach ache, lethargy, fever, rash, irritability, gas, bloating, craving sweets, or pains in different parts of your body. You should start feeling better after the “die-off reaction” is completed. It is important that you inform your practitioner of your symptoms and maintain adequate water intake and healthy nutrition.
